Before You Begin — Please Read Carefully

Hashira FinTech is a financial-technology firm. Alongside building our own products and platforms, we partner with clients across regulated banking and financial services. Either path may involve access to sensitive systems and confidential information, so the application asks for a short set of professional confirmations and consents up front, before you invest time in the full form (about 15 minutes). You may pause and return at any point; your progress is saved against the email you'll verify in a moment.

How we handle your information. We collect and process the information you provide solely for evaluating your application and any subsequent engagement, and we do so in line with the data-protection laws applicable to you and to Hashira FinTech.

Conflict-of-Interest Review. We routinely review the career history candidates provide against our active engagements. If a potential conflict is identified, we will discuss it with you before any client-facing assignment.

What the Process Looks Like. Application review (typically within 5 business days) → screening conversation → technical or domain assessment → values & culture round → offer discussion. Timelines vary by role and availability and are usually in the range of four to six weeks.

1. Engagement in Good Faith
  1. Engaging with the recruitment process in good faith and being genuinely interested in opportunities at Hashira FinTech.
  2. Attending interviews, technical assessments, and other recruitment touchpoints scheduled by mutual agreement, and giving reasonable advance notice if you need to reschedule.
  3. Informing Hashira FinTech promptly if your circumstances materially change during the process — for example, accepting another offer, deciding not to proceed, or a material change in availability.
2. Truthfulness and Background Verification
  1. The information you will provide — work history, education, certifications, references — is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge. You understand that material misrepresentation may result in withdrawal of any offer or termination of employment.
  2. If your application progresses to offer stage, you understand you will be asked to consent separately to a Background Verification (BGV) check covering employment history, education, criminal record, and bankruptcy or insolvency status, conducted by a third-party screening provider.
3. Right to Work
  1. You either hold the right to work in a relevant jurisdiction, or you are eligible to obtain the appropriate work authorisation should one be required (for example, an Employment Pass, S Pass, work visa, or equivalent permit). You understand that placement may be in any of Hashira FinTech's offices or with a client in any jurisdiction where the firm operates.
4. Character & Integrity Declarations
  1. You have not been disqualified by any financial-services regulator, in any jurisdiction, from acting as a director, officer, or representative of a financial institution.
  2. You have not been convicted of any offence involving dishonesty, fraud, money laundering, or financial misconduct in any jurisdiction. (Traffic or regulatory infractions not involving moral turpitude need not be disclosed here.)
  3. You are not currently an undischarged bankrupt, nor have you entered into a composition or scheme of arrangement with your creditors.
  4. You have not been the subject of disciplinary action by a previous employer in the financial-services industry for misconduct.
  5. You are not a Politically Exposed Person (PEP), nor an immediate family member (spouse, children, parents, siblings) or close associate (business partner, advisor, joint venture partner) of one. A “Politically Exposed Person” is someone who has held, or currently holds, a prominent public function in any country — head of state, senior politician, senior government official, senior judicial or military official, senior executive of a state-owned corporation, or important political party official.
  6. You do not have material unresolved indebtedness, court judgments, or default proceedings (formal or informal) currently outstanding against you, nor any that arose within the last 12 months.
  7. You have not exited a prior role under a disciplinary cloud, suspension, summary dismissal, material misconduct finding, or separation by mutual agreement following any disciplinary process, in any industry or jurisdiction.
5. Data Processing Consent
  1. You consent to Hashira FinTech collecting, processing, and retaining your personal information for purposes related to your application and any subsequent employment or engagement, in accordance with applicable data-protection laws (PDPA SG, DPDP Act 2023 IN, and others as relevant). Where your application is unsuccessful, your information may be retained for a reasonable period in the talent pool; you will be notified before any deletion to confirm whether you wish to remain. You may withdraw your consent or update your preferences at any time by writing to [email protected].
6. Client Circulation Consent
  1. Where appropriate to a potential opportunity, you consent to Hashira FinTech sharing relevant details of your professional background with prospective clients for engagement-related purposes. You may indicate any organisations where your information should not be shared, and Hashira FinTech will take reasonable steps to respect such requests.
